Toruń is famous not only for its delicious gingerbread - which of course we highly recommend - but also for many wonderful monuments and tourist attractions. On December 4, 1997, during the XXI plenary session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Naples, the Old Town Complex of Toruń was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.
